Driver’s Age
The minimum driver’s age is 18 years for all car types. Driver must hold a driving license for at least 6 months.
Minimum Rental
The minimum rental period is one day.
Insurance
All authorized drivers of our vehicles are covered against fire and liability to third parties for death, injury, or property damages. NO insurance covers damages to the interior.
Basic rental prices include CDW insurance with excess. However, it is possible to waive the excess with FDW insurance options. You can see costs and excess amounts on the second step of the booking process.
Fuel policy – Driven distances
Fuel is always payable by the renter. The renter needs to drop the car off with the same level of fuel as collected it (FULL). South Corfu Cars provide unlimited kilometers.
Car types
You can reserve car types but not car models. Moreover, we preserve the right to provide a vehicle with similar specifications to the one booked by the renter.
Ferrying the car
Driving the car out of Corfu island is only covered by the insurance with written permission from South Corfu Cars. If you wish to ferry the car, you must add the Mainland Road assistance package on the second step of the booking process.
Traffic Fines
Tickets and attached administrative sanctions resulting from any violation of the Greek Traffic Law during the rental period are the renter’s responsibility.
Payments:
We accept cash and credit card payments. However, we do NOT accept American Express, Diners, and Union Pay cards.
Moreover, please, hold a credit card upon pick-up for the settlement of final charges.
Prepayments-Cancellations:
Prepayments are non-refundable. However, if you cancel your reservation at least seven days before the pick-up date, you can use the prepayment for future reservations within 18 months.
